Ugh – the dreaded editing cycle. About 2 weeks ago I received a proof of the print version of my forthcoming novel, “The Second Tree”. Here’s a picture of me with it (I had just gotten back from working out at the gym, so I’m kind-of a mess in the picture):
That’s a sweaty, disheveled, happy John with a new proof that he hasn’t read yet. That’s actually at my parent’s house. I wanted to share it with them too.
…2 weeks and 68 edits later…not so happy John (no picture provided).
It’s almost done. Then I upload the final files, get a final proof (hopefully no more edits), then blast this sucker out on Amazon, Nook, Smashwords, etc., then go out for reviews (fingers crossed).
Then begins the marketing machine. That’s unknown territory for me, but I have a plan (muuuhuuuhhuuuhaaa!!! – rubs hands together in evil fashion).
